Vision:
Who are we?:

Our goal is to provide education, tuition and support for adults needing a 'step up'. The majority of our clientele are women and men escaping domestic violence, addictions, or other circumstances -  BUT, are now seeking support and education to become more Resourceful, Resilient and Self-Reliant.  ALL are welcome to apply for funding as we want to support adults who are willing to put in effort to improve their job, income, parenting skills, spirituality, mindset, and life!​

 "Help me help you" is a famous quote by Tom Cruise in the movie Jerry McGuire.  That is our mindset at the "Walk With You Foundation".  We cannot help someone who is not willing to be helped.  If you feel you are ready for the 'next step' in changing your lifestyle you will be given an interview to determine which education track is the best fit for you.
Our goal is to offer :
  • Tuition for higher education and skills training programs in the state of Utah
  • Tuition for self-improvement courses including but not limited to: growth mindset, spiritual connection, resourcefulness, reliability and self-reliance
  • Free classes on qualifying and getting a better job
  • Free classes on Building Resumes
  • Free classes on interview skills​
  • Free mindset Classes on how to get 'unstuck' and move forward in life
  • Free classes on how to 'not' return to an abusive lifestyle
  • Free Parenting classes
  • Free Relationship classes
  • Free Healthy Living classes (nutrition, substance abuse prevention)

Education Tracks:

Track A: Basic Self Improvement Classes including but not limited to:
  • Mindset: how to get 'unstuck' and move forward in life
  • How to 'not' return to an abusive lifestyle
  • Parenting classes
  • Relationship classes
  • Healthy Living classes (nutrition, substance abuse prevention)
  • 7 Key Coping Skills
  • Spiritual connection and accessing a higher power (one of the 7 key coping skills!)
Track B: Higher Education Classes at a training center, online, or campus location
  • Our goal is to find sponsors to help pay tuition for you to start or continue your skill certifications and degree programs.  This will hopefully lead to a better job - increased esteem - greater problem solving skills - and a higher quality of life.  Once you feel capable of solving your own problems, providing for your family, and self-reliant... we find that fewer people return to an abusive situation and are more successful in accomplishing their goals.
Track C: Job Readiness Classes including but not limited to:
  • Qualifying and getting a better job
  • Building Resumes
  • Interview skills
Track D: We know you have been waiting for this: THE MAKEOVERS!
  • Makeovers may be offered free of charge after you have been determined as a dedicated and successful participant in our program/s.  Don't feel bad if you don't get chosen... maybe you don't really need a makeover for your fabulous self anyway!  These makeovers will be considered for those who need new clothing, hairstyle ideas, etc. to help them feel successful in their newly acquired jobs. 

You must have an application and interview before assigned an education track.  You can apply for as many education tracks as you wish.
