    • The Trevor Project connects you to free crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth in the form of a hotline, text line, and online chat.  The trevor project’s support center offers a wealth of resources for LGBTQ+ youth and their families.

    • Provides counseling services for individuals, couples and families by graduate interns at a reduced rate

  •  NAMI Utah’s mission is to ensure the dignity and improve the lives of those who live with mental illness and their families through support, education and advocacy.

    • She can help you locate appropriate classes, tell you when they are starting and their locations.
  • All of NAMIs classes are offered free of charge
  • NAMI Basics
    • A free 6 week class for parents and caregivers of children/adolescents with mental health conditions who are looking for information on how to support their child. 
    • NAMI Basics classes are also offered in an online format and are taught on demand.
  • NAMI Family-to-Family
    • A free 12-week course designed to offer education and support to family members, partners, and friends of individuals with a mental health condition. 
  • NAMI Progression
    • A free 6-week course for youth ages 13-18 who are living with a mental health condition.  It is a safe place to learn about mental health conditions, diagnosis, triggers, treatments, stigna, self-care and recovery.  
  • NAMI Peer-to-Peer
    • A free 10-week course that encourages growth, healing, and recovery for anyone with a mental health condition.
  • NAMI Homefront
    • A free 6-week course for families, partners and friends of military service members/veterans with a mental health condition that addresses the unique challenges veterans and their families often face.
  • NAMI Support Groups
    • Mentoring
      • A free service providing those living with mental illness and their families a peer who can listen, empathize, and connect them to valuable education/support programs and other local resources.
    • Connection
      • A free recovery-based support group for those living with a mental health condition.
    • Family
      • A free empowering support group for family members, partners and friends of individuals living with a mental health condition.
    • Suicide Loss Survivor 
      • A free group of family members and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide.  This group works to connect survivors with resources and tools.
